December 26, 2018, Suntri held a press conference at the news agency Interfax-Ukraine in Kyiv, where, together with the team of DPL Ukraine and our partners Hola Firm (Madagascar), we presented our game-changing agricultural project DPL to the general public.
DPL is an international agritech startup powered by Suntri. It is an online platform that combines the decentralized exchange for international trade in agricultural products and the blockchain-cooperative platform for the efficient use of land.
At the press conference CEO of Suntri Eduard Zhalovaga noted that the DPL platform will help Ukraine and Africa turn the agricultural sector into a high-tech industry. Mr Zhalovaga also explained that the success of DPL project, as an effective solution for agribusiness, will be a good example of how the Suntri blockchain technology can be used to revolutionize other industries.
The project is launching in Ukraine, Europe and Africa in early 2019. The team has already signed agreements with traders from around the world that have a total annual trading volume of more than $ 1,000,000,000. In early December, DPL enlisted the support of the All-Ukrainian Association of Landowners and the Peasant Party of Ukraine. The project enters the African market with a pilot launch in Madagascar, which will take place in partnership with the local mining company Hola Firm.
Following the successful pilot launch in Ukraine and Africa, the project will be scaling to the US and Asian markets.
